How my data is protected by HIPAA?
Being HIPAA compliant, Pryv protects your data by establishing safeguards and policies guaranteeing the highest security standards for health data protections are applied.
Pryv does not access the content of your data and thus considers and treats all of it as of the highest sensitivity. That means that even non-sensitive data is treated as privately and securely as health data.
To fully benefit from HIPAA, your data must be stored on a host provider covered by HIPAA or with a contractual agreement with Pryv SA. We choose providers based on their ethics and performance and who are aiming at providing hosting solutions 100% covered by HIPAA.
